I couldn't sleep, and I had something on my mind. So, I wrote this poem about past pain and recent praise. This is about the horrors of potential iatrogenic sequelae two decades post oncology.

Flashes of osteoradionecrosis
My face eaten away like phossy jaw
Dread filled thoughts for years
 
Catastrophizing caused by
Countless physicians and dentists
Warning, “Never do this thing!”
 
The bone-chilling event happened
The thing they said to never do was done
Yet my face remains hale and hearty
 
Praise God in the good times
Also praise God in the bad times, of course
This time was good, “Thank You LORD!”

You can save it and set it as your computer wallpaper for a good reminder of the LORD's provision. I have done that myself, removing the last wallpaper that was the cover art for HyperVigilanté and The Fukushima Connection. My books make good entertainment, but the Bible is infinitely more valuable!

I just got a fresh batch of business cards from Staples! I was able to use their designer from scratch. None of the other online business card businesses that I found atop the SEO pyramid would let me do that gratis.

​All their free things did was give you some templates. They looked okay, but there were things I wanted to do--like putting in the signature, that those free templates wouldn't allow.

Anyway, I think they look pretty nice! We're heading to the Knoxville Book Festival in a few months, so I'm sure my wife and I will be passing out plenty of these new business cards there! Just imagine me handing you one of these 4¢ bad boys!
