Privacy Policy
I was going to grab a boilerplate privacy statement somewhere off the web, but I don't have time to read and edit all that, and most of it would not really apply to my business off the bat.
So, simply stated: If you give me any of your data when you sign up for my email list, I will never sell that. My intention is to set my email list as "double opt in," meaning that you give me your contact information and check a box that says you are okay with me sending you marketing and promotional materials, THEN you must also click on the email link that the system will send you, which verifies you. I will have it setup where you can unsubscribe to stop me from sending you emails. I will respect you. If you don't want to see my stuff, no problem! But I hope to be a good steward of my email list. I want to provide value to the people on my list.
Bear in mind that I am new at this and only starting to get my systems and programs setup to do this. Currently I am not an expert at any of this. But as time goes on I will get more experience, and the process will get smoother on my end.
Since I hate it when I give my email address to a company and they slam my inbox twice per day with junk, I will not ever do that to you. I will likely set the system to send you 3 emails over the first 3 days when you first subscribe. That will be so you can get whatever freebie(s) I offered you at the time of your sign up. After that "onboarding" process, I will probably make the normal contact or newsletter frequency to 1 or 2 times per month. Of course, everybody's different, but in my life, I most appreciate getting emails from companies or people between that 2 to 4 week mark.
Then, if anything crazy happens, I might shoot out a message nor on that regular schedule. I sincerely thank you for your trust and interest in seeing what's going on in my life and the writing calling that I have!
